Ανακοινώθηκαν οι υποψηφιότητες για τα Βραβεία Gayming 2024, με το Baldur’s Gate 3 να είναι ο κορυφαίος υποψήφιος με πέντε υποψηφιότητες μαζί με άλλα παιχνίδια που βασίζονται στην ιστορία, όπως τα Thirsty Suitors, Tchia και Final Fantasy XVI. Επιπλέον, η φετινή εκδήλωση θα συνδιοργανωθεί από τη βραβευμένη drag queen και δημιουργό περιεχομένου τρόμου DEERE, μαζί με τη συνάδελφο δημιουργό περιεχομένου, podcaster και συγγραφέα Milady Confetti. Το βραβείο θα προσθέσει μια ολοκαίνουργια κατηγορία με τίτλο «LGBTQ+ Geek Entertainment Moment of the Year» – εφιστώντας την προσοχή στο εξαιρετικό queer περιεχόμενο εκτός gaming.
